Transacting business in Virginia with Wyoming LLC

If I have a Wyoming LLC and live in VA, do I have to be registered with the SCC to purchase real estate in VA AND establish a bank account?

Russell,
If you want to purchase an investment property in Virginia you need to use an LLC registered in that state, domestic or foreign. That means you can either register your WY LLC as a foreign entity in Virginia, or register a separate VA LLC (it can be fully owned by WY LLC).
The bank account can be anywhere, doesn't have to be in Virginia.
