Taxes on a foreign owned LLC?

Asked by: mark - 15 October, 2012 Hi,

I am a non resident allien and have a registered single member LLC in Delaware. I am opening company bank account in New York. It will be used specfically for Google payments. Will I have to pay any taxes ?
Answered by: Robert Kowalski - 16 October, 2012 Mark,

The question of taxes is a very general one. If you are wondering if your LLC would be required to pay taxes in New York because you bank there the answer is no. With that being said, keep in mind that LLCs don't pay taxes on the LLC level if they elect to be taxed as partnership/disregarded entity.

On questions of taxation you really should consult an accountant.
