I have an LLC registered in Delaware. It is an online business. I want to open a bank account in California. Must I also register in California?
Dear Thomas,
Having a bank account in a state other than the state of registration does not by itself constitute “doing business” in that state. Therefore you can open a bank account for your Delaware LLC in any state without the need to register it there.
With that being said, most banks would require you to supply them with a letter written by your company attorney or a CPA, stating that your company does not do any business in the state where you want to open a bank account.
(a) You made a typo in the card number, CCV code, expiration date, name or address;
(b) Your card balance is too low;
(c) Issuing bank has declined this transaction for some other reason related to your account.
