I have a company registered in PA. I have now moved to CA and want to do my business in CA. I am in the recruitment and staff placement business. Can I operate my PA based LLC in CA?

Dear Arjun,
You can certainly operate a PA LLC in California, provided you foreign-qualify it. To do so you need to form a foreign entity in CA, the process that takes a few months when not expedited, or a few weeks when expedited.
Keep in mind that after foreign qualification your PA LLC would be subject to the same tax rules as any domestic CA LLC.
