Openning a EU branch in the US

Asked by: Walid - 30 August, 2012
https://d25eic0jctudgb.cloudfront.net/images/site/avatars/default.png-f1597c1da25f30f8c1a941405e8391c8 I am an Egyptian citizen with a Lithuanian telecom company which is operating for the past 10 years.

We are currently working for outsourced jobs in the UK market and decided to branch out to the US market.

What would be the best state to open such a business in terms of taxes schemes, capital structure and visa facilities.

Since your question is general and deals with the case of establishing a branch of a foreign company in the US I would like to refer you to a collection of questions that were asked by our users over time dealing with the aspects of Doing Business in the US from Abroad.

In this section of our website you would find answers to many questions dealing with establishing a branch in the US, including questions dealing with taxation, liability, management, employment, and immigration related questions.
