New Australian-owned US company

I am from Australia, so which state is best for me? I will be based in LA, but will sell throughout the US

Dear Fraser,

I presume by LA you mean Los Angeles, not Louisiana. In any case, if you will be based out of California (as in having an office and employees) that’s the state you should consider for forming your company. You could form it in Wyoming or Delaware, however being physically present in California would eventually require you to register in that state to, so you might as well register there to begin with.
