Name change of existing corporation
Asked by: John - 27 February, 2013
We have an association which we incorporated in January of 2012 yet never did business. Is it better to disolve this business and incorporate my new business or will a name change work?

John,
It might be a good idea to change the name, since this way you don't need to spend money on dissolution and then spend more money on forming a new corporation.
With that being said, check how much you need to pay to renew this existing corporaiton, maybe its more cost effective to dissolve and form a new one after all.
