My small VA LLC planning to attend flea markets and street fairs in NYC

My small LLC was incorporated in VA, I am planning to attend several flea market and street fairs in NY to promote my products, the DOS website is very confusing, what do I have to do to be able to sell in these fairs? Is a certificate of authority enough? Do I have to register the LLC in NY and do the 2 week advertising?

Hello Alejandra,
You do not have to register your company in New York or do the required publication procedures. A Certificate of Authority to Collect Sales Tax is sufficient enough to promote your products at flea markets and street fairs.
