What are the advantages for creating an LLC in Virginia versus Maryland?

Choice of state for your new business would depend on various factors related to your business. I invite you to read my article dealing with choice of incorporation state: Choosing where to incorporate.

By the way, just as a side thought and given the geographic proximity, you might also include Delaware as the state to consider (however, please use the advise in the article I linked to above to make the choice).
