LLC clients in other states

I am making an LLC in Illinois. Can I get clients from other states? Or do i have to form an LLC in every state where i have clients?

Jacq,
The answer to that question would depend on the type of clients you are going to provide services to. If those are buyers of a product or service that is delivered online or mailed to them then you don't need to register in other states. If however each client is associated with a major project that requires you to travel to the client's state and provide services locally then chances are you do need to register in that state.
