Forming an LLC in Arkansas?

Is there any reason not to form our LLC in Arkansas since we live in Arkansas and will be conducting at least some of our business here?

Lillian,
If you are a resident of the state of Arkansas, and conduct your business there in person (such as having an office, employees, or conducting your business in person), you would have to have your company registered in that state.
If your business will be conducted solely online through a web business, then depending on the type of your business, you may find states such as Wyoming or Delaware may be beneficial, as they are the more business-friendly of states to incorporate in.
