Anu,

As a Canadian citizen, you will be able to register an LLC in Ohio without having to submit any personal identification or financial documents. You will not be required to have a U.S. address, social security number, or any type of visa either.

If you are planning on having multiple properties, you may want to consider setting up an initial holding-company, such as an LLC in Wyoming, which you could use to then own separate LLC’s for each property, respectively.

If you are planning just to have the one property in Ohio, then that is where you should register your LLC by using the highlighted link above.
