Where to incoprorate?

Asked by: forevernado@gmail.com  — 22 January, 2013

I am a US citizen living in the US.
My partners are Costa Ricans living in Costa Rica.
We are looking to set up a website and company/corporation/llc.
Where is the best place set up our corporation/company? Costa Rica?
US?
Or some where else?

Dear Visitor,

Our organization specializes in business incorporation/registration in the United States, and we can establish an entity in any state, and it is never a problem to have some or all of the members as non-U.S. resident citizens.

In the U.S., you can technically form a web-business in any state, such as your state of residence, or states such as Wyoming, Nevada or Delaware, with no limit on how many members you could have or where the members reside. (We have a research article titled ‘U.S. Companies for Foreigners‘ which explains and guides you through the U.S. incorporation process, state and entity comparisons and directs you to the appropriate online applications).

To be honest, as we are not familiar with the incorporation process in Costa Rica, it may be a good idea to consult an accountant or business attorney familiar with Costa Rica’s business structures and procedures.
