Does the State of New Mexico require all corporations and LLCs formed within the State of New Mexico to obtain a State Tax ID Number?

The form you are talking about is called ACD-31015 (Business Tax ID) and applies to both Corporations and LLCs, however if the business only owns property, or does no business in the state of New Mexico it is exempt from filing ACD-31015.
