Florida DBA

Can I use an existing DBA that is being actively used for my new corporation in Florida?

Russ,
Florida doesn't allow DBAs to be transfered from sole proprietors to corporations, however you can register a corporation or LLC with the same name as the DBA, and it would be allowed. For example, if your DBA is "ABC Something", you can register a corporation "ABC Something, Inc." and keep using this name.
