Asked by: Lucia - 1 December, 2012
I have dual citizenship (U.S/ Argentine), starting a business in Argentina with clients from the U.S and Europe. The business is part online and the other part are in person, for events and such.
Can / should I register my business in the U.S?

Dear Lucia,
It would make sense to register a company in the US if it would help your business, for example by making it easier for your US clients to pay you for your product, or if you want to establish a distribution center for your product in the US. Other than that, if you are running it from Argentina you should consider and follow the local laws in registering your business.
