Sole Proprietorship vs. General Partnership

Whats the difference between general partnership and sole proprietorship?

Both entities do not require any registration with the state (except maybe a DBA), however sole proprietorship is always a one-owner business, and general partnership is always two-or-more-owners kind of business.
