What is an LLC and is it good for my coffee shop?

An LLC is a business entity that is a pass-through entity, meaning the company does not pay tax on it’s profits. The income is passed-through to the members’ personal income, where they would then pay their personal income taxes.

LLC allows for unlimited members, and does not issue stock.
