Can you help me incorporate as a California b-corporation? (new category, this year)

Dear Rand,
We can certainly accomodate your needs to form a Benefit Corporation in California. You can use our regular California Corporation form, and simply specify in the Notes that “this would be a Benefit Corporation”, and we will file it accordingly. There is no difference in state fees.
California have passed laws to create two new types of corporations – Benefit Corporation that you mentioned, and also Flexible Purpose Corporation. Those are similar to L3C, however California did not pass laws for this type of entity.
