I want to reserve a business name in Maryland that probably won’t be operational for at least 1 year. Is it possible to register the name and hold it for that long?

Dear Karen,
The state of Maryland only allows you to reserve an entity name for 120 days. So you might want to register it every 3 months if you want to keep it reserved.
