What is DBA closing procedures in Missouri?

Hi I applied for a DBA with Missouri and I understand failing to file is a failure to register your fictitious name is a misdemeanor under Missouri law and persons failing to register are subject to charges by their local prosecuting attorney. Let’s suppose I decide to dissolve my business what would be the correct procedure in closing out my DBA. I need this info in advance for future reference. Yours Truly.

Dear William,
The correct procedure in closing out your DBA is very simple. All that needs to be done is completing and mailing in the form called Cancellation of Fictitous Name which is free of charge. This is a direct link to the application from the Missouri Secretary of State website.
