Can the owner of an LLC be his/her own registered agent?

Bob,
Yes, you can be the owner of the business and the registered agent as well.
By state definition, the registered agent must be a company or individual with a physical address in the state of the business registration, and must be physically available during normal business hours to accept legal documents, such as service of process.
When selecting your registered agent, please keep in mind by not being physically available to receive service of process at the event your company is sued, you risk having a default judgment against your business.
